Greetings to all you northlanders who get to see those beautiful Aurora. And a special note to the science students of Petersburg H.S. who are doing magnetometer experiments.

I'm writing this to let you know of the pioneer of magnetometer experiments, Kristian Birkeland, the Norwegian scientist who unlocked the mystery of the aurora more than 100 years ago and has yet to be fully acknowledged by the scientific community outside of plasma cosmology. A book that I would like to add to your library or personal collection is The Northern Lights by Lucy Jago. I did not see it listed in your H.S. library index so I can only hope that your science teacher has mentioned it and you have already become familiar with Birkelands experiments which proved (back in the early 1900's) that the aurora are associated with the suns activity and are electrical in nature.

You may also find these web sites of great value in your scientific education.
www.holoscience.com www.electric-cosmos.org www.thunderbolts.info www.plasma-universe.com and www.plasmaresources.com

Plasma cosmology is a branch of science that is truly a science, in contrast to astronomy, astrophysics, geology, and several others which are theoretically based and supported only by mathamatics rather than by valid laboratory experiments which demonstrate foundational principles and mathamatics.

Birkeland demonstrated with his lab experiments with the Terrella machine many properties of earths plasma-sphere which were not measured until the space age. He was way ahead and we would be too if his work was not ignored.

As I said, I like to send some books to the science class or other Aurora enthusiast of Petersburg. I hope someone will forward this information to them. Thanks dzp
